If you’ve lived in this city long enough, there are things about it that you just know : the sea will always hold a magical allure; Kemps Corner with sea facing apartment at the said address is a rare acquisition. The question to ask then is: what kind of design would do justice to such a location? We undertook an extensive renovation to restore the house to its former glory. It was time to honor this ageing gem by updating it. It was planned essentially to create a backdrop of nature outside.
The 18th Century, wainscot provide rich and classic look to home interior. Custom fluted and beveled pilaster casing installed articulate an extent of wall. A soft colour palate and a mix of cozy texture define this space. The Living room – the only front facing with direct sea views –is elliptical, which led pick up furniture with more comfort and muted tones.
